Life Update : Spring has Sprung…kinda

Hey all! I know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me and I’m truly sorry about that. I’d like to say that I’ve been too busy to blog but that wouldn’t be exactly true. I’ve just been struggling a little bit over this past month to feel motivated to blog or come up with ideas but my co-blogger Ely has kicked me up the bum so here I am.

I’ve not been up to too much over this past month but gee time has really flown! with work, driving my mum around and doing errands I find the days jut go so quick. I’ve not been spending too much of that time reading either I must say and am scarily 5 book behind in my goodreads reading challenge. I do believe that I can catch up with my reading challenge though and will be aiming  to get cooking with gas with my reading in the coming weeks so I can complete my challenge of 100 books, I’m at 70 now.

Do you have some recommendations on some fast paced books to read that will help me get out of this dull reading time I’ve been having?

Saying all this I did get up to some fun activities such as seeing my favourite Author Samantha Shannon in the flesh! I went to a talk she did during the Melbourne Writers Festival all about her Bone Season series and it was so good to learn more about her and where her ideas come from as well as what she has planned next. I was kind of in awe the whole time.

Why is it that whenever I write a life update post I sound like the most boring person on the face of the planet? I swear I’m cool ….okay maybe not.   This was pretty much my time, no reading , work and errands I live a grand life. I have actually got so much planned for the future though including a little trip to Europe 😉 . Stay tuned for more regular post by me and hopefully something a little more interesting!!

Thanks everyone for reading and again apologise for the slackness, feel free to let me know how you’ve been and what you’ve been up to over the last month or so.

  1. So great you got to see your favorite author like that. And you will definetely get to your goodreads goal. Middle grade books are just easy books to fly through. I also tend to fly through books like J.D Robb’s In Death books.
