I want to apologise for all of these easy posts this week. With Michelle away I wanted to keep this blog active but didn’t have time to come up with some incredible post ideas. I promise I’ll have more exciting this for you all later in the month. For now, here’s three library books I’ve borrowed recently.
Eat Sweat Play: How Sport Can Change Our Lives by Anna Kessel
I’ve already read this one. In fact, I read it the day I picked it up from the library. It was incredible and it really got me thinking about sport and exercise. I’ll be talking more extensively about this in the very near future.
Lullabies by Lang Leav
Lang Leav is one of those poets that always pops up on Goodreads and when I’m browsing on The Book Depository. I know Michelle said she wasn’t a huge fan of hers, so I decided to borrow this from the library rather than buy. I’ve read this one too, and it was alright but far from being my favourite poetry collection.
They Can’t Kill Us All: The Story of Black Lives Matter by Wesley Lowery
This is the only one I haven’t read yet, but I’m actually hoping to start it today. I don’t know a lot about how the Black Lives Matter movement started and I would like to. I’ve really been getting into non-fiction lately, especially things to do with society and current affairs. I’ll let you know how this one goes.
So that’s it for this post. Like I mentioned, I have much more exciting posts planned for later in the month, but I hope you all enjoyed this one. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you all tomorrow!
