So this weeks Top Ten Tuesday was supposed to be Ten Bookish Things I Want to Quit Or Have Quit but Ely and I had a hard time deciding what we wanted to quit because we are stubborn and also bad decision makers. So in an act of rebellion we have decided to talk about what we love and that is Ten Book Boyfriends we REFUSE to Quit. See what we did there. We like to turn things on their head here at Tea & Titles.
Luca Falcone from Vendetta aka Blood for Blood series- I just finished this book and OMG soooo many italian boys. So I tend to have a habit of falling in love with the second boy in a love triangle, you know, the one the main characters ‘falls for’ second and well it happened again. Sophie and Lucas relationship is only just kindling but I can feel fire brewing between them and I just need me some of that Luca. Luca also follows my standard bad boy attraction because he is literally bad I’m talking Mafia bad. JUST GO READ IT AND YOU’LL KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
Loki from the Trylle Series- OMG this is another example of my falling for the second guy in a love triangle but I really can’t help myself. Loki is tall and has long blond hair and the sarcastic nature I just can’t help but falling in love with. The Trylle series really surprised me because I wasn’t expecting to love it so much but look at me now, raving about my love for a fictional character once again.
Henry from The Goddess Test – Tall, Dark and Brooding. It had been a while since I read this book and I actually don’t remember too much, but the thing that sticks in my mind is Henry aka Hades. Henry is mysterious and tanned and really freaking hot. I really need to continue with this series so I can read more about him….and the other characters I guess but that’s not important.
Wesley Rush from The Duff- Be still my beating heart. Can I just say the letter he writes to Bianca is everything to me I do not know how many times I have re-read that part and I don’t care. Wesley is one of those guys that I always reminisce about and a re-read is definitely in order for me so we can be together again.
Sirius Black from the Harry Potter series
Sirius Black is the original of my book boyfriends. I’ve loved him since I was seven (when the third movie came out), and I’ve spent the majority of my time since then crying about him and the rest of the Marauders. I know we don’t see a heap of him in the books or movies, but I love every second he was there.
James Mycroft from the Every trilogy
I probably talk about James Mycroft too much for it to ever be considered healthy. I love him because he’s so smart and tortured and I just want to wrap him up in a blanket and snuggle him for years.
Captain America/Steve Rogers
This is probably no surprise to anyone who’s ever spoken to me ever. I am OBSESSED with Cap. Yes, this is mostly because of Chris Evans but can you really blame me? That man is gorgeous. But I also really enjoy the comics I’ve read that he’s in.
Aiden St. Delphi from the Covenant series
This might be cheating slightly because I only just very recently read Half-Blood, but already I love Aiden a lot. The first book was quite similar to Vampire Academy, but honestly *ducks flying object from fangirls*, I like Aiden more than I like Dimitri. I’M SORRY!
Annnddd some special guys that we both loved.
Phoenix from The Violet Eden series: I have only read the first book in this series but fell in love with him pretty much instantly. Phoenix is another mysterious bad boy character that is probably not good for us but we don’t care okay, we don’t care. Also he may or not be an angel *insert wink face*.
Warden from The Bone Season series: Warden is one of our dear special snowflakes. Whilst he isn’t exactly human he is man in all the ways that count…wow I’m pervy. Warden is a little bit of a mystery and how he and Paige get together is an interesting story that personally made my heart melt and Ely’s too I suppose. Just go read The Bone Season at least, do it for us, pretty please.
Who are your fave book boyfriends and do you agree with any of ours? We’d love to see you’re Top Ten Tuesdays as well, so keep in touch and we hope you have a good week 🙂 Be well Book Angels
